Green-Ops Pledge

We actually do care about this planet we live on, so we make a lot of conscious efforts to keep everything we can as eco-friendly as possible. To give you an understanding of the changes we have made as a brand, we’ve listed a few highlights below:

Our delivery bags are produced from sugar cane, a green alternative to standard polythene mailing bags that are just as bombproof (they’re not actually bombproof), because they contain the same properties as standard oil-derived polythene, meaning no compromise on strength or quality. They’re also fully recyclable and carbon neutral – the carbon dioxide taken from the atmosphere in the growing process offsets the carbon dioxide emitted through production and transport.

Our apparel comes packaged in “5 PP (Polypropylene) Recyclable Plastic”. This can be recycled into traffic lights, battery cables, brooms, garden rakes, brushes, car battery cases, ice scrapers, landscape borders, bicycle racks, rakes, bins, pallets, and trays. Just check with your local authority whether it can go in the standard issue recycling bin, or something more bougie, like a supermarket recycling point.

Our courier, Royal Mail, boasts the UK’s lowest average parcel carbon footprint. Bold claim, we know!

Some of our products, like our ‘Only Good Vibes’ line, are produced using Global Organic Textile Standard (G.O.T.S) approved quality 100% organic cotton. It’s a mouthful, but it means it’s grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides!

Some of our products are also made from recycled materials, such as the fleece lining in our 'Heritage' hoodies and sweatshirts, which contain 20% recycled polyester and have saved the equivalent of 7 x 500ml plastic bottles from going to landfill (the sweatshirts saved 6 - guess the hood accounts for 1 bottle). Additionally, our PT shorts are made from 93% recycled polyester, and each pair saves 9 x 500ml bottles from landfill, according to the same lab team. Our track shorts also contain 20% recycled polyester, saving 4 x 500ml plastic bottles from going full send into the earth.

As you can see, we gen make every effort we can to be as eco-friendly as possible. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve further, please don’t hesitate to let us know! We’re always open to ideas.
